每一个HP-101都提供8个平衡输入： 其中4个单声道通道配有推子和声像调节，再加上2个使用旋钮开关的立体声馈送，它能提供提供立体声，单声道和SIM处理。这个出色的SIM设置单声道可以让低音听起来非常贴近于真人发声。使音乐家们特别惊艳的两个特性分别是：一个按钮简易地就能进行通信，另外一个就是在的声压级下也能保持的声音品质。更方便的是，ELCO接口也提供针脚可用于其他通信和监听功能，包括了TALK（对讲）和INTERRUPT(中断)
