8、给料方向应顺胶带的运行方向，为减小物料下落时对胶带的冲击应采溜槽，减小物料下落距离；胶带受料段应缩短托辊间距和采用缓冲托辊为漏料，带顺应采用柔软适度的挡料板，以免档料板过硬，刮破输送带的带面。
9、输送带在使用中应注意以下事项：①避免托辊被物料覆盖，造成回转不灵，防止漏料卡于滚筒与胶带之间，注意活动部分的润滑，但不得油污输送胶带；②避免带负荷启动；③胶带发生跑偏，应用时采取措施纠正；④发现胶带局部损人造棉应用时修补，以免扩大；
