　　A programmable controller is a digital computing electronic system designed for use in an industrial environment.It uses programmable memory to store user instructions for specific functions such as logic operations,sequence control,timing,counting and arithmetic operations,and controls various types of machinery through digital or analog input and output.or production process.The programmable controller and its auxiliary equipment should be designed according to the principle that it is easy to form an industrial control system,and all the functions they have are easy to apply.

　　The control of the CNC machine tool is completed by the coordination and cooperation of the CNC device and the programmable controller.The CNC device mainly completes the functions related to digital operation and management,such as editing of part programs,interpolation operations,decoding,servo position control,etc.;The programmable controller mainly completes some actions related to logic operation,and does not realize the specific requirements of trajectory motion.PLC completes the corresponding switching actions of the machine tool through the auxiliary control device,such as tool replacement,workpiece clamping,coolant on/off,automatic lubrication and other auxiliary actions.It also accepts the instructions of the machine tool operation panel,on the one hand,it directly controls the action of the machine tool,and on the other hand,it sends a part of the information to the numerical control device for the control of the processing process.
