陕西咸阳膜生物反应器（Membrane Bio-Reactor ，简称MBR),,是一种将膜分离技术与传统污水生物处理工艺有机结合的新型污水处理工艺。他通过膜组件的分离作用，大大提高了泥水分离效率，并且由于曝气池中活性污泥浓度的增大和污泥中菌的出现。提高了生化反应速率，该工艺能大大减少剩余污泥的产量（甚至为零），从而基本解决了传统生物处理法存在的剩余污泥产量大、占地面积大、运行效率低等问题。

Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) is a new and highly efficient sewage treatment process which combines membrane separation technology with traditional sewage biological treatment process.
