2017年12月17日， 2017深圳国际马拉松赛鸣枪起跑，3万名跑友在深圳市中心正式开跑！终，来自肯尼亚的选手PETER KIMELI SOME以2小时14分50秒的成绩夺得男子组；女子组方面，来自吉尔吉斯斯坦的选手POLIUDINA以2小时33分25秒的成绩夺得女子；值得关注的是，中国选手狄鋆以2小时22分07秒的成绩夺得中国籍男子名，再次刷新个人PB。算上这次的深马，狄鋆已经连续四周四场全马PB了。此场比赛为：11月26日仙居绿道马拉松，以2小时30分55秒的成绩获得；12月3日的张家港马拉松，以2小时24分的成绩刷新PB；12月10日广州马拉松，以 2小时22分11秒的成绩刷新PB；
狄鋆1986年出生于常州，2005年进南京农业大学，主修英文，一直读到研究生毕业。毕业后，到南京市一个地方开发区工作，目前是海外华侨华人招商引资项目的负责人。忙碌的工作和应酬让他长期不运动，感觉身体乏力，为了改善健康，2015年他决定开始跑步。

而本次深马以2小时22分07秒的成绩夺得中国籍男子名再次刷新PB。
和很多选手相比，狄鋆每天花在跑步上的时间在1小时至1个半小时，要么一次跑完，要么早上半小时，晚上40分钟，间歇或者快慢结合，月跑量三百公里，主要训练地点是小区。在采访中，狄鋆曾说过：“对我来说，跑步只是生活中的爱好之一，不是一种谋生手段或者获取名利的方式。如果把它当作一种职业，原来它吸引我的一些地方也许就会不复存在。我觉得还是要平衡好它和生活、工作的关系，才能保持我对这项运动的爱好。”
