The Republic of Yemen is located in the southwestern end of the Arabian Peninsula, adjacent to Saudi Arabia and Oman, and bordering the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea. In March 2015, President Abdul-Rab Mansour Hadi of Yemen announced that Aden was the temporary capital because of the occupation of Sana'a by Hussein militants.
